Welcome

ASSETs is the Chico Unified School District's Expanded Learning Program (After School Program) that provides Fair View High School students graduation credit recovery, recreation, enrichment, and academic opportunities, every day after school.  Fair View has school day teachers who offer a full service, enriched and fun learning environment for all students. Continuation of this program depends upon receipt of state and federal funding.

Schedule

  • Seventh Period (2:30 – 3:18 p.m.)
  • Eighth Period (3:21 – 4:09 p.m.)
  • Optional Enrichment (4:15-6:00 p.m.)

NOTICE TO THE COMMUNITY: INTENT TO SUBMIT GRANT APPLICATION

The Chico Unified School District is planning to apply for two 21st Century Community Learning Center grants to continue the existing Before and After-School Programs at all three middle school sites (Bidwell Junior, Chico Junior and Marsh Junior) and the After-School Program at After School Safety and Enrichment for Teens (ASSETs) Program at Fair View High School.
 
Additional information about the federally funded 21st Century Community Learning Center program can be found at http://www.cde.ca.gov/ls/ba/cp/. A copy of the application and any waiver request will be available for public review after submission of the application on November 16, 2023.
